Fish House Winch & Lift System Compatibility Guide

Use this guide to identify the lift system on your fish house or wheelhouse before ordering winches, cables, straps, pulleys or an ICNUTS™ cordless-drill winch adapter. Factory models can change by year and trim, so match the actual frame and winch on your house.

ICNUTS drill adapters are for compatible manual hand-crank / crank-down winches only. Raise with a cordless drill in low gear at slow speed where specifically listed. Never lower a fish house with a drill.

Manual crank / hand crank / crank-down

These are the primary applications to inspect for ICNUTS compatibility. Common search terms include hand-crank fish house winch, 2-speed lowering winch, crank-down frame, fish house winch cable, winch strap and cordless-drill winch adapter.

Hydraulic

Hydraulic-frame models use a different lift system. Do not order manual-crank winch parts unless your specific house also has the compatible manual winch hardware shown in the product listing.

Skid house

Skid houses generally do not use the same wheelhouse drop-frame winch system. Verify the actual application before ordering lift-system parts.

Ice Castle Fish House Parts — cables, pulley kits, 2-speed winches, furnace parts, lighting and compatible ICNUTS drill tools. Current Ice Castle lineups include both hand-crank and hydraulic frame systems.

Yetti Fish House Parts — cables, winches, straps and compatible drill-winch tools for applicable crank-down / hand-crank houses.

Glacier Ice House Parts — selected wheelhouses use GS Trailer frames and hand-crank systems with straps. Verify model and year.

Team Lodge Fish House Parts — hand-crank frame applications include compact and larger wheelhouse models; verify the exact winch and cable layout.

Ambush Fish House Parts — Venture models are an important manual-crank / lowering-winch application to identify by model and winch type.

Nordic Lodge Fish House Parts — some models use crank frames and others use hydraulic systems, so verify the lift system first.

Many smaller factory wheelhouses in the 6.5-foot-wide class and common 12-, 14- and 16-foot lengths use manual-crank lift systems, but size alone does not prove compatibility. Larger houses can also use hand-crank systems. Match the manufacturer, model year, axle/frame style, winch direction, mounting pattern, removable-handle connection, cable or strap configuration and pulley layout.
