Fish House Pulley Size Guide: 1-1/2-Inch vs 2-Inch
Fish House Pulley Size Guide: 1-1/2-Inch vs 2-Inch
Choosing the correct pulley matters because fish-house lift systems vary by manufacturer, frame style and model year. Do not choose a pulley by appearance alone. Match the pulley size, cable size, frame and mounting hardware to the original setup or to a product listing that specifically states compatibility.
1-1/2-Inch Fish House Pulleys
ICNUTS lists 1-1/2-inch pulleys for many compatible crank-frame applications, including selected Ice Castle and GS Trailer setups and certain Team Lodge, Ambush, Nordic Lodge, Stampede and Polar Crib applications where specifically listed.
For Ice Castle, 2017-and-up GS Trailer-frame houses commonly use the GS-style cable and pulley system. Older houses can differ, so verify year and frame before ordering.
2-Inch Fish House Pulleys
ICNUTS lists 2-inch pulleys for compatible Forest River Grey Wolf / Ice Cave lift systems where specifically shown. Some earlier Team Lodge applications may also use a 2-inch pulley, so check the existing hardware rather than assuming every Lodge frame is the same.
How to Verify the Correct Pulley
- Measure the outside pulley diameter.
- Confirm the cable size and groove fit.
- Check the mounting pin or bolt diameter and usable width.
- Match the fish-house brand, model year and frame style.
- Compare the original pulley and bracket to the product photos.
Do not substitute a pulley size unless the product listing specifically confirms the application.
