Description

ICNUTS 3-Winch Mega Tool Kit

Raise the winches on a crank-style fish house with a cordless drill instead of hand-cranking each winch. Never lower the house with a drill; remove the drill tool and use the quick-attach handle for lowering. This three-tool kit is designed for fish houses that use three heavy-duty winches: two side-axle winches and one front or tongue winch.

What Is Included

  • Three ICNUTS cordless-drill winch tools
  • Tools for operating all three winch positions
  • Lifetime warranty on the ICNUT adapter nuts for the original owner; see terms below

Cordless drill, winches, batteries, and other items shown for demonstration are not included unless specifically stated in the product options.

Compatibility

Made for many factory-built and home-built crank-style fish houses using compatible removable winch handles, including many smaller fish houses. Common applications include Ice Castle, Yetti, Glacier, Polar Crib, Team Lodge, Nordic Lodge, Forest River, and similar fish-house lifting systems.

Before ordering: compare your winch-handle connection and lifting layout with the product photos. Brand names alone do not guarantee fit because manufacturers may change winches, handles, and frame hardware between models and years.

How It Works

  1. Park securely on level ground and follow the fish-house manufacturer’s lifting procedure.
  2. Remove the original hand-crank handle.
  3. Install the correct ICNUTS tool on the winch’s low-speed input.
  4. Set the drill direction to match the direction used by the original handle.
  5. Raise the house gradually, keeping the sides reasonably even. Never lower with a drill; remove the drill tool and use the quick-attach handle for lowering.

Why Proper Adapter Fit Matters

A winch adapter should fit straight and centered on the low-speed drive shaft. An adapter that is off-center, distorted from welding, or incorrectly sized at the inside opening can vibrate and place uneven pressure on the outside of that shaft. Over time, this can damage the shaft where the removable hand crank attaches, preventing the handle from staying securely retained.

ICNUTS tools are designed for proper alignment and dependable fitment. Be cautious with unverified imported copies and look-alike adapters sold online. Compare the connection shape and dimensions before use; stop immediately if an adapter wobbles, binds, or causes unusual vibration.

Travel safety: Remove all winch handles before towing and store them securely inside the fish house or tow vehicle. A loose handle can fall off on the highway and create a serious road hazard.

Before use: Read the winch manufacturer’s safety instructions and the ICNUTS instructions completely. If anything is unclear, contact ICNUTS before operating the tool.

Important Use and Safety Notes

  • Use a suitable cordless drill with its auxiliary handle installed.
  • Begin slowly and maintain a firm two-handed grip.
  • Use the winch’s low-speed input; do not use an impact driver.
  • Never place any part of your body beneath an unsupported fish house.
  • Inspect winches, cables or straps, pulleys, fasteners, and frame components before lifting.
  • This kit operates the winches; it does not replace the winch’s load-holding ratchet or required safety supports.

Minnesota-Made ICNUT and Warranty

The patent-pending ICNUT adapter nut is the component we manufacture in Minnesota, USA. It carries a lifetime warranty for the original owner. Proof of purchase may be required, particularly when the product was purchased from a dealer or another website instead of directly from ICNUTS.com. Shipping and handling charges apply when receiving a warranty replacement. ICNUTS may require the original part to be returned for inspection before a replacement is issued.

Only the ICNUT adapter nut is represented as made in the USA. Other tools or sockets included in the kit are sourced outside the United States because suitable U.S.-made versions were not available. Those items may carry a separate manufacturer warranty; many tool sockets have lifetime coverage, but the terms vary by item and manufacturer.

Confirm Fit Before Ordering

The ICNUT adapter is not universal. Compare your winch, low-speed shaft, and handle connection with our online product photos. If you cannot confirm the match visually, text clear photos of your winch to ICNUTS before ordering and we will help check compatibility. For questions about fitment or operation, contact us before using the tool.

Common Questions

Does this kit include the winches or drill?
No. This listing is for the three-tool ICNUTS Mega Kit unless another option is specifically selected.

Will it fit every fish house from the brands listed?
Not automatically. Verify the handle connection and winch layout shown in the photos because components can vary by model and year.

Can I use it on a home-built fish house?
Yes, when the house uses a compatible crank-style three-winch lifting system.

Why are three tools included?
The kit equips all three winch positions so the tools can remain ready for use without moving one adapter between winches.
