Compatibility

Designed for many factory-built and home-built crank-style fish houses. Mounting patterns, cable routing and drive directions can vary, especially on home-built frames, so compare your existing setup before ordering.

Smaller-house compatibility: These winches are also used successfully on many smaller factory-built and home-built fish houses when the mounting, crank direction, cable or strap routing, and required lifting capacity are compatible. Verify the complete setup before ordering.

Important Winch Identification

DL2500A is a housing part number—not proof that a complete winch has the correct fish-house components. Older custom fish-house versions used special gearing, shorter handles and two-way ratchet cogs that hold the fish house when cranking stops. They were sold only to fish-house trailer manufacturers and parts centers. Standard right-hand boat winches may use the same housing identification but are not the same replacement.

Confirm the gearing, handle, ratchet cog, drive direction and mounting pattern—not only the housing marking—before ordering.
